WHO IS SICILLIA XIAO?
Sicillia is currently a member of the award winning R.P.M Dance Crew, well known for their detailed K-pop dance tutorials on YouTube, achieving 200,000+ subscribers and 11,000,000+ views on their channel in a span of two years. Having taught K-pop dance classes for the University of Toronto Korea Club, University of Toronto Engineering Skule Dance Club, and Josie de Leon School of Performing Arts, she is a passionate, experienced and patient in helping students learn and to grasp the beauty of each dance move. She also performed as apart of R.P.M Dance Crew for numerous shows in Toronto including, Toronto Kpop Con 2015, Hallyu North 2016, Prestigious DD Women Award Ceremony, and Women’s Singing Competition @ Korea Times.
Before stepping into the K-pop realms, Sicillia has always been passionate about dancing. She received training in Chinese folk, modern traditional, contemporary dances and ballet since the age of 5 in China. She was the proud recipient of Chinese Regional Contemporary Dance Silver Award. She also performed with MCAO (Mississauga Chinese Arts Origination) at the Living Arts Centre and Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto as the lead dancer for consecutive Chinese New Year Galas. Sicillia is also a hard working computer science student at the University of Toronto St. George campus.
