Christie Amelia started her dance journey in high school as a KPOP fan. She started dancing through doing dance covers to her favourite KPOP songs. As she kept dancing, she realized her passion for dance and started to seriously train when she moved to South Korea after university. She trained at various dance academies such as Soul Dance, 1Million Dance Academy and Just Jerk Dance Academy under many talented instructors for 4 years. During that time, she also kept her passion for KPOP alive as she was a finalist at the KPOP Cover Dance Festival Competition as a soloist. During her time abroad, she has also attended many international dance classes and workshops including EN Dance and Summer Jam dance camp. Currently back in Toronto, she is continuing her passion for dance and KPOP as an instructor at various dance studios. At DancelifeX, she is currently teaching Commercial Choreography as well as KPOP Cover.
